Google is set to unveil the Pixel 10 series, Pixel Watch 4, and the new Pixel Buds 2a on August 20, and now the first official-looking image of the upcoming earbuds has surfaced online.
While technical specs remain under wraps, the image confirms one of the Pixel Buds 2a’s colorways—Iris, a bold blue-purple tone. Other rumored colors include Strawberry, Hazel, and Fog Light, continuing Google’s playful and lifestyle-focused design approach.
As expected from the “a” series, the Pixel Buds 2a will be a budget-friendly option, following in the footsteps of the Pixel Buds A-Series, which launched back in 2021. This long-overdue refresh is rumored to bring:
- Improved battery life
- Enhanced sound quality
- Possibly better microphone performance and connectivity
With affordability as a key selling point, the Pixel Buds 2a will serve as the entry-level earbuds in Google’s ecosystem, positioned below the more advanced Pixel Buds 2 Pro. Their official reveal will coincide with the broader product lineup unveiling, making August 20 a major event for Pixel fans and Android users alike.
