This update brings exciting enhancements to Gmail, including AI-driven Smart Replies, Help Me Write, and an AI Inbox feature.
One of the standout tools is Help Me Write, which allows users to provide Gemini 3 with a prompt, and the AI will generate a complete email draft. This is particularly useful for quickly composing responses or creating new emails without having to start from scratch. Additionally, users can refine the AI-generated content by adjusting specific parts of the message, ensuring it aligns perfectly with their intentions.
Another helpful feature, Smart Replies, has been updated with AI capabilities. Now, the AI can analyze the context of the email conversation and match the tone of the suggested reply, making responses feel more personalized and natural. Furthermore, the AI Inbox can filter out unnecessary clutter from your inbox, offering a quick briefing with important highlights, while also summarizing lengthy “Reply to All” emails—perfect for busy professionals.
These AI features will initially be available for English-speaking users in the United States, with plans to expand to more regions and languages in the coming months.
