The Audi e-tron 50 quattro, available from November 2019 to March 2022, brought Audi’s premium EV technology to the executive SUV class. Equipped with a 64.7 kWh usable battery and 230 kW dual-motor AWD powertrain, the e-tron 50 accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 6.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 190 km/h.
Real-world testing estimates a 280 km range, with a maximum of 405 km in city mild weather and a minimum of 205 km on cold highways. The SUV’s energy consumption averages 231 Wh/km, positioning it as a modestly efficient option for its size and class.
Charging is handled via an 11 kW AC onboard charger (7 hours to full) and a 120 kW DC CCS fast charger, taking it from 10–80% in just 25 minutes. Built on the Volkswagen MLB platform, the vehicle is not an EV-dedicated build but supports heat pump tech and V2L/V2G are not available.
Offering 660 liters of boot space, a towing capacity of 1800 kg braked, and an interior with 3 ISOFIX seats, the e-tron 50 quattro is both functional and family-friendly. With its 1.5/5 long-distance suitability rating, it’s best suited for urban and regional driving rather than extended highway trips.
