Xiaomi has officially launched its much-anticipated electric vehicle, the SU7 sedan, revealing three distinct versions that build upon the excitement generated during its initial tech showcase in December 2023. The event provided a comprehensive look at the vehicle’s specifications and features.
Introducing the Xiaomi SU7 EV Lineup
- Base Model: The entry-level version is powered by a 299 hp rear motor and equipped with a 73.6 kWh battery, promising a 700 km range under the CLTC standard. It boasts rapid charging capabilities, offering 310 km of range in just 15 minutes. Priced at approximately $30,000 (RMB 215,900 or €28,000), this model offers significant value.
- SU7 Pro: For those seeking extended range, the SU7 Pro features a 94.3 kWh battery with an 830 km range, maintaining the same motor as the base model. Its price, roughly $33,600 (RMB 245,900 or €31,700), competes directly with the Tesla Model 3 in the Chinese market.
- SU7 Max: At the top end, the SU7 Max boasts a robust 101 kWh battery within its 871V system, achieving up to 810 km on a single charge. With a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup delivering 673 hp, it can recharge 510 km of range in 15 minutes. This premium variant is priced at about $41,000 (RMB 299,900 or €38,700).
All models will feature Xiaomi’s advanced Pilot Pro self-driving technology, including an Nvidia Orin processor, a LiDAR system, and 11 cameras, with phased rollouts starting in April for user testing.

The SU7’s interior offers luxury and technology, with options like a fridge, Nappa leather or Oeko-Tex seats, a Dolby Atmos sound system with 25 speakers, dual back seat screens using Xiaomi Pad 6S Pros, and a large 56-inch adjustable HUD.
Xiaomi’s infotainment system integrates seamlessly with Xiaomi smartphones and supports Apple CarPlay, with an option to replace the Xiaomi tablets with iPads for rear passengers.

Early orders by April 30 come with complimentary upgrades, including Nappa leather seats and a fridge. The standard and Max models of the SU7 will start shipping by the end of April, while the Pro variant is expected to ship by the end of May.
