The vivo V60 is officially launching in India on August 12 at noon, the company confirmed through its Indian branch. This powerful new smartphone packs impressive hardware, a refined design, and several AI-driven photography features.
The vivo V60 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, a significant step up for the V-series. It will run Android 15 with vivo’s custom Funtouch OS 15 skin on top, ensuring a modern and fluid user experience.
In terms of design, the vivo V60 boasts a quad-curved OLED display, giving it a premium and immersive look. It also comes with a massive 6,500 mAh battery, one of the largest in its category, promising extended screen time for heavy users.
The camera setup is a major highlight. The device features four cameras, all co-developed with ZEISS:
- 50MP front camera for detailed selfies
- 50MP main camera
- 50MP telephoto lens
- Ultra-wide-angle sensor (resolution not yet revealed)
These ZEISS cameras will support multi-focal portrait photography, AI Four-Season Portraits, and a special India-exclusive Wedding vLog mode, catering to local cultural preferences.
For durability, the vivo V60 is IP68 and IP69-rated, making it resistant to dust, water, and harsh environmental conditions. It will be offered in three elegant color variants: Auspicious Gold, Moonlit Blue, and Mist Gray.
With this launch, vivo aims to make a strong statement in the mid-premium segment by blending performance, photography excellence, and regional personalization.
