The origins of Sironga Girls High School date back to 1968 when it was founded as a Harambee Mixed Secondary School under the leadership of Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi, the then Vice President of Kenya. The school’s distinctive maroon-colored uniforms earned it the affectionate nickname ‘Maroon Palace’, a testament to the pride and reputation it has built in Kenya’s education sector.

KCSE Performance at Sironga Girls High School

Sironga Girls has consistently ranked among Kenya’s top-performing schools in the KCSE exams. In 2024, the school presented a total of 859 candidates, with 824 students qualifying for university entry, representing an impressive 95.93% university transition rate.
