OnePlus 15T and 15s Leak: Triple Cameras, Bigger Battery, and More

The OnePlus 13T and 13s have only been on the market for a few weeks, but leaks surrounding their successors—the OnePlus 15T and 15s—have already surfaced. As usual, OnePlus is gearing up to deliver meaningful hardware upgrades, even though the devices are still in the early rumor stages.

  • Same Display, New Rear Camera Setup
  • Bigger Battery and New Chipset Expected
  • Release Timeline Still Unclear
  • Conclusion: Compact Flagships with More Power

Interestingly, OnePlus is reportedly skipping the number 14 in its naming convention, likely due to tetraphobia—a cultural aversion to the number 4 in parts of East Asia. If the leak is accurate, OnePlus will jump directly from the 13-series to the 15-series, aligning with naming patterns seen in other brands like OnePlus’ sister company Oppo.

Same Display, New Rear Camera Setup

According to early reports, the OnePlus 15T and 15s will retain the same display size as the 13T/13s. While the actual size isn’t confirmed in the leak, this likely means a compact, high-end smartphone experience similar to the current models.

What’s new is the addition of a third rear camera, up from the dual-camera setups seen on the 13T and 13s. While the leak doesn’t confirm the type of lens, it’s widely assumed to be an ultrawide sensor, a standard choice for most triple-camera flagships. This move would bring the 15-series closer to the camera systems on full-size OnePlus flagships.

Bigger Battery and New Chipset Expected

Battery life improvements are also on the cards. The OnePlus 15T and 15s are expected to ship with larger batteries, addressing one of the few critiques of the 13-series. This could mean better longevity for power users and gamers alike.

Additionally, both devices will reportedly feature a next-generation chipset, which is standard for yearly flagship iterations. While the exact chip hasn’t been confirmed, it will likely be a successor to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or a new MediaTek flagship, depending on OnePlus’ direction.

Release Timeline Still Unclear

While excitement builds around the OnePlus 15T and 15s, OnePlus has yet to confirm any official release window. The brand could stick to its annual refresh cycle or opt for an accelerated launch, considering its recent aggressive product release strategy.

Until more reliable leaks or teasers emerge, fans and tech watchers will have to stay tuned for updates.

Conclusion: Compact Flagships with More Power

If these early rumors hold true, the OnePlus 15T and 15s will offer key upgrades while maintaining a compact footprint—triple cameras, a bigger battery, and a faster chipset. These changes could make them compelling choices for users looking for smaller flagship devices that don’t skimp on features.
