Media personality Shiksha Arora has announced her departure from Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) after three years. Arora shared on her social media that her final broadcast on the show “Easy Friday” will be on July 19 at 9 PM.
Expressing deep emotions about her exit, Arora reflected on her time at KBC as an enriching experience, describing her workplace as home and her colleagues as family. “It’s tough to leave a place that felt like home for three years and colleagues who became like family,” she commented.

During her tenure, Arora covered significant events like elections and engaged with top entertainment figures in Kenya, interviewing over a hundred celebrities. “We’ve shared laughter, tears, and growth on KBC TV,” she recounted, signaling the end of her chapter at KBC but the start of a new one in her career.
Before joining KBC in 2021, Arora was with K24 for three years, starting in 2018. Known for her charismatic and approachable style, she quickly became a favorite among viewers. Arora holds a master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Westminster, London, and has a keen interest in digital marketing.
