The government of Uganda is headed by President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni, who also serves as the Commander-in-Chief of the Uganda Armed Forces. His second-in-command is Vice President Jessica Rose Epel Alupo.

The executive arm is structured with several key positions, including the Prime Minister, Robinah Nabbanja, who oversees government operations. Rebecca A. Kadaga serves as the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for East African Community Affairs, while Gen. (Rtd) Moses Ali is the Second Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy Leader of Government Business in Parliament. The Third Deputy Prime Minister and Minister without Portfolio is Rukia Nakadama Isanga.

The Cabinet is composed of various ministers responsible for different sectors. Notable among them are Janet Kataaha Museveni, the Minister of Education and Sports, and Matia Kasaija, the Minister of Finance, Planning, and Economic Development. The security sector is overseen by Maj. Gen. (Rtd) Kahinda Otafiire as the Minister of Internal Affairs and Vincent Bamulangaki Ssempijja, heading the Ministry of Defense and Veteran Affairs.

The Cabinet also includes ministers in charge of specific areas like agriculture, health, trade, and infrastructure, among others. Each minister plays a vital role in the administration, management, and implementation of policies in their respective domains, contributing to the overall governance and development of Uganda.
