The bridge was constructed in the early 2000s by Nani Croze, a German artist who fell in love with Kenya’s natural beauty and decided to settle here. Nani Croze also owns Kitengela Glass, an art space that includes workshops for stained and blown glass, a pottery studio, and two art galleries. The area also features funky cottages, a swimming pool, and a variety of animals, including camels that visitors can ride.
