Affected Areas in Nairobi
In Nairobi, power will be switched off from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in areas such as Cotton Avenue, parts of Dennis Pritt Road, Ring Road Kilimani, Chania Avenue, and Wood Avenue. Other affected locations include Yaya Centre, Prestige Plaza, Jamhuri Estate, and parts of Ngong Road, Toi Primary, and Suna Road.
Additional areas like Lavington West, Muthangari Road, Njumbi Road, and parts of Kirichwa Road will also experience power cuts. Customers in these regions should expect power to be restored by 5:00 p.m. on the same day.
Power Interruptions in Other Counties
Machakos County will experience power outages in the Katani area from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., affecting locations like Shajanand, EPCO, and Blowplast.
In Nakuru, the outage will affect parts of the Nakuru CBD, including Moi Road, Nuru Palace, and Central Police, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Uasin Gishu County will see outages in Biocorn and Steel Mills areas from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with additional areas such as Eldocraft and Kidiwa Estate also impacted.
Kisumu and Kisii County Affected Areas
In Kisumu County, power interruptions will affect areas like Kibos Prison, Tamuwa, and Got Nyabondo between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Muhoroni Town and its surrounding areas will experience power cuts from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Additionally, the Holo and Ngere regions will be affected between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Chiga and Kasese areas will face power interruptions from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
In Kisii County, the Kiabusura and Motonto areas will experience outages from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Kilifi County Power Disruptions
In Kilifi County, the Matsangoni area will face outages from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., affecting Mpenda Kula, Matsangoni, and Mkiringi, among others.
