During his professional career stretching over two decades, Orhun has worked for and moved between extensive hotel chains. The last of which, General Manager at Marriott Jakarta.
His appointment as the General Manager of JW Marriott Marquis City Center Doha marks Orhun’s first assignment in Qatar. In his new role, Denizoglu will be responsible for overseeing the operations and strategic direction of this prestigious 314-key luxury hotel, while ensuring an unparalleled guest experience infused with distinctive luxury.
Hailing from Turkey, Denizoglu brings with him over 26 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry, having worked with renowned brands such as Ritz Carlton Istanbul & Bahrain, Bangkok Marriott, Ayada Maldives, and Fairmont Abu Dhabi. His illustrious career includes significant positions such as Director of Banquets, Director of Food & Beverage, and Director of Operations, which have paved the way for his success as a General Manager.
In addition to his wealth of experience, Denizoglu holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and an Associate Degree in Tourism and Hotel Management, further complementing his expertise in the field. Under his exceptional leadership, his previous team achieved a remarkable milestone by securing the top position in RGI growth. He has consistently demonstrated his ability to drive Rev-Par Index and GOP, establishing a proven track record of success.
