Step 1: Log Into Your PayPal Account

Visit the official PayPal Togo homepage: https://www.paypal.com/tg/home
Click on “Log In” and enter your email and password to access your account dashboard.


Step 2: Access Wallet Settings

On the top navigation bar, click on “Wallet”. Then click the “Link a Card or Bank” button.

  • Linking a Credit/Debit Card
  • Linking a Bank Account

Only one method is required, but you can link both.

Step 3A: Link a Credit/Debit Card

  1. Select “Link a Card”
  2. Enter your:
    • Card number
    • Expiration date
    • 3-digit CVV/CVC code
  3. Click “Link Card”

PayPal will charge two small amounts (less than $1) to your card. These appear in your bank statement within 24–48 hours.

Once the charges show up:

  • Locate the 4-digit verification code
  • Go back to PayPal and enter the amounts and code to verify the card
  • PayPal will refund the charges after verification

Step 3B: Link a Bank Account

  1. Select “Link a Bank Account”
  2. Enter your:
    • Bank routing number
    • Account number
  3. Click “Link Your Bank”

PayPal will deposit two small verification amounts to your account. Check your bank statement for the transaction codes.

Return to PayPal, input the deposit amounts and codes, then click “Submit” to verify.

  • A Credit/Debit Card (Visa or Mastercard)
