After splitting from video director and former boyfriend Trevor, content creator Mungai Eve has launched a new YouTube channel.
Director Trevor announced his divorce from Eve in February, stating that “her services are no longer needed.”
Mungai Eve declared that the move marked the start of a new era while introducing the channel, which would be known as Mungai Eve Media.
“Be ready for a new beginning and an abundance of inspiration! We’re happy to launch the new Mungai Eve, brimming with honest stories, inspiring messages, and a good influence on your world,” she stated in a statement on her social media accounts.
She asked Kenyans to join her on the new trip saying it will be fascinating as they explore the human experience, celebrate diversity, and inspire good change.
“Our goal at Mungai Eve has always been to tell engrossing tales that speak to your spirit. Now that we have a completely new appearance and feel, we are going above and above.
“Buckle up, get ready to be inspired, and welcome to the new era of Mungai Eve!”
Minutes after its launch, her new YouTube channel had 1,900 followers at the time this story was published.
The channel currently has no posted videos.
Prior to their breakup, Trevor and Eve collaborated for more than three years.
Since its founding on January 2, 2020, the Mungai Eve channel—now known as Kenya Online Media—has amassed over 750K followers and posted over 2353 videos.
The “Mungai Eve” Facebook page, which had more than 104K followers, was likewise renamed by Trevor to Kenya Online Media.
Trevor also took over Insta-Fame, a YouTube channel with more than 104,000 subscribers.
A few days after declaring that the platforms will be rebranded, Trevor introduced Rael Wangare as Mungai Eve’s replacement.
Wangare declared that her arrival on the new channel signifies “the beginning of new times” during her first appearance as Eve’s replacement.
“What you have known for so long as Mungai Eve Media has a new name now, Kenya Online Media…under the one and only Director Trevor’s stewardship,” she said.
Wangare disclosed that Captain Nyota is a member of the reorganized squad, but she added the identities of the other crew members would be kept under wraps for the time being.
