Located high above the Maasai Mara, with quick access to the reserve below, Angama Mara comprises two intimate camps, each with 15 spacious and elegant tented suites. Angama Mara’s fully inclusive rates are family and single-traveller friendly, always priced per guest per night and are categorised by season.
FLIGHTS TO ANGAMA
Angama Safaris can assist with booking flights to the lodge from Nairobi or further afield. There are several scheduled flights daily and the flying time varies between 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes depending on the routing. Private flights are also available.

- All guided safaris into the Mara Triangle on a shared vehicle (maximum 6 per vehicle)

FAMILIES & SINGLE TRAVELLERS
- Angama Mara welcomes children aged 6 years and older in Peak Season (all ages welcome during Standard Season)
- The first two children under the age of 12 in any reservation stay free of charge at Angama Mara during Standard Season
- Each camp has 4 sets of interconnected tented suites
- Children 12 and under are able to share a triple (either with parents or siblings), please request our children’s rates
- The first two single tents on any booking, or a combination of reservations for guests travelling together, will not incur a single supplement, thereafter an additional charge of 50% of the nightly rate will be applied
TRADING TERMS
- All bookings are subject to availability. Check-in is scheduled for 12h00 and check-out for 10h00. A change-room, with shower and hairdryer, is offered for late departures from the Mara. Early check-in and late check-out subject to availability.
- Booking Confirmation
- Standard Season: A $100 non-refundable booking fee will be charged per guest per night. The balance is due 45 days prior to travel.
- Peak Season: A 30% non-refundable deposit is required. The balance is due 60 days prior to travel.
- Deferrals
- All postponements subject to a 2nd 30% deposit 6 months prior to 2025 travel dates if access to the lodge by means of international flights is reasonably deemed by Angama to be materially disrupted or includes such imposing restrictions (like a mandatory 14-day quarantine) to make it impractical.
- Cancellation fees
- Standard Season: 100% cancellation fees will be charged on bookings cancelled within 45 days prior to travel
- Peak Season: A 30% cancellation fee will be charged on bookings cancelled before 60 days prior to travel. 100% cancellation fees will be charged on bookings cancelled within 60 days prior to travel
- Provisional Bookings
- Standard Season: Bookings will be held for 30 days prior to confirmation
- Peak Season: Bookings will be held for 14 days prior to confirmation
- Group rates for run-of-house bookings are available upon request
