The 2024–25 Kenyan Premier League marks the 22nd edition of the league since its 2003 inception and the 62nd season of top-tier football in Kenya. The season began on 24 August 2024 and will conclude on 22 June 2025, with 18 clubs vying for national glory, continental slots, and survival in the country’s premier football competition.
The league has witnessed a thrilling campaign so far, with Kenya Police FC emerging as the most consistent side, qualifying for the CAF Champions League qualifiers after finishing at the top of the table.
Kenya Police, led by coach Etienne Ndayiragije, displayed dominant form by winning 18 matches, drawing 11, and losing just 5. They scored 38 goals and conceded only 17 to end the campaign with 65 points.
Close behind them were traditional heavyweights Gor Mahia, who finished second with 59 points, followed by Kakamega Homeboyz (58 pts) and Tusker FC (57 pts). Gor Mahia, despite a solid performance under Croatian tactician Sinisa Mihic, narrowly missed the title.
At the bottom of the standings, Posta Rangers and Nairobi City Stars have been relegated to the National Super League, while Talanta FC, finishing 16th, will contest the Relegation Playoffs.
