Under the Ministry of Medical Services, Wesu District Hospital is a 60-bed government hospital located in Kenya. It is situated in Taita-Taveta County’s Wundanyi town.
Pregnancy care, basic emergency obstetric care, curative in-patient care, HIV testing and counseling, immunization, integrated management of childhood illnesses, prevention of HIV transmission from mother to child, radiology services (such as X-rays), and tuberculosis treatment are among the services provided.
The hospital is situated in Coast Province in the southern region of Kenya. A lengthy, winding earth road leads to the hospital, which is 7 kilometers from Wundanyi town, the district seat. Motorcycles are the primary means of transportation to the hospital. The Taita-Taveta county council is the owner of the 3.6 hectares (8.9 acres) of property on which the hospital is located. In the Taita-Taveta district, there are three governmental district hospitals. There are three: one in Voi, one in Wesu, and one in Taveta.
