The FCB Mihrab, Kenya’s first building designed with Islamic values, it’s located in Kilimani, Nairobi. Costing Sh1.3 billion, the 25-storey structure features a mihrab-inspired design symbolizing purity. Mihrab Development Project Administrator Farhiya Ibrahim notes its 50% occupancy, with First Community Bank as anchor tenants. The floor layout reflects a floral pattern, hosting amenities like an open terrace, borehole, generator systems, lifts, cafeteria, gym, and prayer hall. The eco-friendly design includes water treatment, greywater recycling, and rainwater harvesting. The development is part of Mihrab Development Limited’s initiative for First Community Bank’s headquarters.
