Technical Specifications include specific requirements and shall be applicable to the projects of the Public Works Authority “Ashghal” only. They shall be implemented on projects, on a case by case basis, following the approval of the respective Ashghal project managers or engineer.
In general, the Technical Specifications shall not be implemented in projects in a construction stage, where a significant portion of construction and procurement has already occurred; and, therefore, subsequent modifications would lead to cost and time implications. If in doubt, a contractor/consultant should seek guidance from the respective Ashghal project manager or engineer on a scheme-specific basis.
All Technical Specifications are owned, controlled and updated as necessary by Ashghal.
