List of Tallest Buildings in Eldoret Town. Eldoret is a principal town in the Rift Valley region of Kenya and serves as the capital of Uasin Gishu County. The town is colloquially known as ‘Sisibo’. The Kerio Valley Development Authority Plaza (KVDA- Plaza), Eldoret
Before MUPS, the KVDA Plaza used to be the tallest building in Eldoret town. Constructed at a total cost of almost Ksh. 400million, KVDA- Plaza is 14 storied and currently the second tallest building in Eldoret. KVDA- Plaza has an international conference center fitted with modern gadgets. The conference center has a huge capacity that can hold more than 400 people at the same time. The top floor of the building is stadium shaped.
KVDA Plaza hosts offices for a number of government institutions such as the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF), Communication Authority (CA), The Commission on Administrative Justice (The Ombudsman), The Attorney General’s Office, NACADA offices as well as a number of county offices and the headquarters of KVDA.
KVDA- Plaza is located in the heart of the Eldoret town, which is in Uasin Gishu County. Kiptagich House, Eldoret
This building has for a long time been linked to former President Daniel Moi’s family. It has the same height and number of floors as that of White Castle – 9 floors and 31 metres high.
Kiptagich House hosts some of the key government installations in Eldoret town – Central Bank and the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) North Rift regional offices. The building also hosts one of the two Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) branches in the town. It is located just towards the end of Eldoret CBD, also along the highway.

The White Castle building, Eldoret
The White Castle is about 31 meters high and consists of nine floors. It is the third tallest building in Eldoret town. Although it is among the oldest structures in town- constructed back in 1980- White Castle houses one of the largest Motels in town- Eldoret, the White Castle Motel. The motel is known to offer friendly environment to both tourists and business travelers visiting the town and the surrounding areas.
