Steps to Authentication of Employment Contract in Qatar. The Ministry of Labour (MOL) reviews and authenticates employment contracts to ensure they comply with Qatar’s Labor Law. Authentication is required for the following documents:

- Work contract
- Work service certificate
- Personal sponsorship
- Profession amendment
Instructions
Authentication Process for Work Contract:
- Bring three copies of the contract, along with a copy of the Establishment ID, new employee’s visa and ID.
- Visit MOL Labor Department to complete the authentication process in person.
Authentication Process for Work Service Certificate:
- Bring three copies of the service certificate, along with a copy of the Establishment ID, employee’s ID and bank statement showing his/her salary amount.
- Visit the Labor Department to complete the authentication process in person.
Authentication Process for Personal Sponsorship:
ADVERTISEMENT
- Bring three copies of the contract, along with a copy of the sponsored person’s work visa and a copy of the sponsor’s ID.
- Visit the Labor Department to complete the authentication process in person.
Authentication Process for Profession Amendment:
- Bring three copies of the new contract, along with a copy of the Establishment ID and employee’s ID.
- Visit the Labor Department to complete the authentication process in person.

No fees are required for this information.
Additional Information
- A service fee of QR60 applies for each contract and QR40 for each service certificate.
