5 Mistakes to Avoid at Nairobi National Park
1. Choosing the ‘Wrong’ Vehicle
Ensure to hire a tour van with an open roof to stand and catch sight of all animals. This type of vehicle also provides a perfect photo-shooting experience.
2. Going Alone
Going with a group makes the experience more enjoyable and less costly. It also ensures you’re not alone, which is safer and more fun.
3. Getting Out of the Van
Never get out of the van as it endangers your life and those traveling with you. Wildlife can be unpredictable, and safety should always come first.
4. Not Hiring a Tour Guide
Hiring a tour guide ensures you don’t get lost and increases your chances of spotting specific game animals. Tour guides know the park well and can navigate the best routes for wildlife viewing.
5. Dressing Inappropriately
Wear appropriate clothing and shoes. Trousers and fitting shoes are recommended for comfort, especially when moving around the park or spending time at picnic sites.
By following these tips and guidelines, you can ensure a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience at Nairobi National Park.
