The Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA) is the regulatory body charged with regulating deposit‑taking Sacco Societies (Savings and Credit Cooperatives Societies) in Kenya. Its mandate allows it to regulate and supervise licence and levy contributions in all Sacco Societies in Kenya in accordance with the Sacco Societies Act of 2008.

The Authority has issued a notice on the commencement of the process of supervising and regulating SACCOs carrying out specified non-deposit-taking SACCO business in accordance with the Sacco Societies (Non-Deposit Taking Business) Regulations, 2020.
The Regulations took effect on 1st January 2021 and thus SACCOs have until 30th June 2021 to comply.

After filling the Non-DT-SACCO Data collection template provided above, the SACCO is to submit the template at the portal.
