Qatar: Taxpayer Registration Amendment. This service allows the taxpayer registered in the system of the General Tax Authority (GTA) to amend some of the information he/she provided at the time of registration, due to changing circumstances and events.
Instructions
- Login to the Dhareeba Tax Portal using the National Authentication System “Tawtheeq”.
- Click on “Amend Registration” link on “My Profile Amendment” tile.
- Read the instructions for “My Profile Amendment” and click on “Start Now” button to proceed further.
- After making the required modifications, press “Continue” to go to the summary screen.
- Confirm that the information provided during registration is correct.
- Submit your application.

No fees are required for this service.
Additional Information
- This service provides the ability to modify general information, including the establishment information, commercial activities information, facility address details, owner information, and contact person in the facility.
- In the tax information part, the taxpayer will not be able to make any changes in the establishment information, commercial activities information, and owner information. The taxpayer can only amend the “Profit Sharing Ratio”.
- The taxpayer will receive an SMS, email message, and a PDF file upon request submission, approval, or rejection, and in the event of receiving or submitting additional information.
- The taxpayer can either register for income tax (in the event that he/she did not register for it while submitting the application for registration) or he/she can amend the information on the income tax screen.
- The accounting period field will be displayed only if the taxpayer requests to change the accounting period separately and the amended accounting period from January to December. The request will be sent to the GTA for approval.
- The establishment tax system will either be the standard system, the oil and gas system or it can be both. It depends on the taxpayer’s business activities identified in the Business Information section.
- If the taxpayer adds or removes an activity that is flagged as oil and gas, he must add or remove the activity from the establishment’s tax system.
- The taxpayer can modify the information on the Excise Tax screen.
