Mwito Sacco Society Ltd was registered on in the year 1979 under the Co-operative Societies Act Cap 490 Laws of Kenya as limited liability society in order to mobilize savings and provide affordable credit facilities. The Sacco draws its membership from employees of Ministry of Kenya Wildlife, Tourism and Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research institute
In order to continuously grow the share holders wealth the Sacco opened its common bond to non members in the year 1994. This was aimed at enabling the Sacco introduce more loan and savings products and services for non members like the retirees.
The Sacco is located at Ngara Estate next to Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (K.I.C.D) some two (2) Kilometers from Nairobi City Centre.
Mwito Sacco office is open for business between 0830Hrs (8.30AM) and 1600Hrs (4PM) East African time on weekdays. The front office is open for service to customers during this time.
