The concept was derived from the successful completion of the adjacent Norfolk Towers. Longonot Place. Both projects are owned by the same client being the first scheme in Nairobi to plan deluxe apartments into an integrated community with offices objectively to attract high income tenants.
The brick facing was used to give a high quality appearance and a maintenance-free finish in sympathy with the neighboring Norfolk Towers. The project was completed in 1985.

In 1982, Longonot Place Limited was formed and construction of the
apartments started. The same were completed in 1984.
The apartments were managed by the Block Hotels Group from 1984 to 1989.
A total refurbishment of the apartments was carried out in 2018
