Logitech was founded in Apples, Vaud, Switzerland, in 1981 by Stanford alumni Daniel Borel and Pierluigi Zappacosta, and former Olivetti engineer Giacomo Marini. In January 2016, Logitech spun off the video conferencing equipment maker Lifesize.
In April 2016, Logitech agreed to pay US$7.5 million penalty related to accusations that it and some former executives improperly inflated the company’s results for its 2011 fiscal year to meet guidance and other accounting violations. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission said the alleged accounting issues left investors without an accurate view of the Swiss company’s finances.
On 12 April 2016, Logitech announced that they had agreed to acquire Jaybird, a leader in wireless audio wearables for sports and active lifestyles, for US$50 million, with an additional earnout of up to US$45 million based on achievement of growth targets.
On 15 September 2016, Logitech announced that they had purchased the Saitek brand and assets from Mad Catz for US$13 million.
On 11 August 2017, Logitech acquired Astro Gaming, makers of professional gaming equipment (mainly headsets), for US$85 million.
On 30 July 2018, Logitech announced that they had purchased Blue Microphones for US$117 million.
On 26 September 2019, Logitech acquired Streamlabs, producer of software and tools for live-streaming, for approximately $89 million.
On 29 July 2021, Logitech, in collaboration with choreographer JaQuel Knight, introduced its #Creators4BIPOC initiative under the Logitech For Creators brand. It allows social media creators, particularly BIPOC influencers, to copyright and monetize their online creations by making it possible for choreographers who amplify attention to hits by major artists in the entertainment business to secure copyright of their choreography using Labanotation and earn royalties from it

You can have multiple websites under one affiliate account. To set them up, please contact us at logitechaffiliateus@digitalriver.com and provide the names and URLs of the additional websites. Once set up, you will be able to create links specific to each website and generate separate reports for each website. You will receive one commission check for all of your websites.

TRACKING, REFERRAL FEES AND PAYMENT
All links from your website to Logitech, Logitech G, Ultimate Ears, Astro and Blue contain a unique identifier so that every time a user comes to us via your website, we can credit you when a purchase is made. Make sure that all links on your website are created on Impact so that they are tracked correctly.
We use Impact’s affiliate tracking system. You will have access to an online, password-protected reporting system on Impact.com that will provide you detailed statistics for your website. To be able to identify and track visitors and properly assign commissions to referring websites, we append a unique code for each visitor to each page and each link within the page seen by the visitor. This code follows the user throughout the website. When the visitor completes a purchase, the code is examined and the dollar amount of the sale, together with the Source ID of the referring website, is stored in our database so that your commission can be calculated. Using Impact’s tracking, Logitech will also give you credit for cookied sales within 30 days of an initial click from your website to Logitech. Cookied sales are sales that have come from customers that have visited Logitech directly within 30 days of visiting Logitech after linking from your website. However, there are situations when you won’t get credit. For example, if someone follows a link from your website to Logitech, and browses but doesn’t buy anything, and later follows a link from another Logitech affiliate website, the code for the second referring site will replace yours.
We provide unlimited access to detailed reports that allow you to track sales and traffic activity. There are numerous reports on Impact that are updated daily. These reports tell you how many users saw and clicked-through links to Logitech from your website, how many orders were placed, which products were purchased, how much your website has earned in commission and much more. These reports will help you maximize your revenue.
Commission rates are based on the net sales you generate per month and vary by brand. You can earn up to a 10% standard commission on all products. If a customer comes to Logitech directly from your website or directly to Logitech within 30 days of visiting your website and then buys any merchandise on Logitech, you get credit. It does not matter what type of merchandise you sell or link to from your website.
