The mansion rests on a ten-acre piece of land and boasts a serene environment, from well-maintained lawns, fences, an Olympic sized swimming pool to a well-equipped gym.Security is surely top-notch in this residence, as it has a well-manned gate, a wired perimeter wall, and an almost 300-meter alley that leads to the house. The ‘state house’, as its known by locals, is in Kanyakwar, Riat Hills overlooking Kisumu International Airport. The imposing house is said to have been constructed by the Chinese, who subcontracted to locals. This house is reported to have costed about Sh1.0 billion to be fully constructed and furnished. It is located near the Riat Hills in Kisumu County just a few kilometres from the Central Business District (CBD). The house is said to contain conference halls, 10 bedrooms, a state-of-art kitchen, jacuzzis and many more features.
