Kenya’s West Mugirango Constituency is a constituency for elections. It is one of Nyamira County’s four constituencies. The constituency was created from the bigger North Mugirango Constituency for the 1966 elections. List of Elected MCAs in West Mugirango Constituency 2022
Kebirigo, Nyamira, Rangenyo, Sironga, part of Bogichora, part of Bonyamatuta, Gesiaga, Keera, Miruka-Nyamaiya, Motagara, and Sironga were the twelve wards that made up the West Mugirango Constituency prior to 2013. Ward lines and a few names, however, were changed to Bogichora, Bonyamatuta, Bosamaro, Nyamaiya, and Township.
There are common boundaries between West Mugirango Constituency and Nyamira South Sub-county. The sub-county administrator, chosen by the County Public Service Board, is in charge of the sub-county.
