Based on the 2019 Census, Narok County, located in southwest Kenya, has an estimated population of 1,157,873. List of Elected MCAs in Kilgoris Constituency 2022. The Maasai are the predominant ethnic group. Its largest town and capital is Narok; Kilgoris is the only other significant metropolitan center. The County Governments Act of 2012 established the Narok County Government in accordance with the 2010 Kenyan Constitution. Following his victory in the 2022 elections, Patrick Ole Ntutu became the governor of Narok County; Tamalinye K. Koech serves as his deputy.

In Kenya’s Narok County, there is an electoral seat called Kilgoris seat. It is among the county’s six constituencies. In the old Trans Mara District, it was the lone constituency. It was created as a constituency for the elections of 1997. There are 18 wards in the constituency, and each ward elects members of the Trans Mara County Council.

Within this constituency are the towns of Kilgoris, Emarti, and Lolgorian respectively.
