Kenya has an electoral seat called Kacheliba seat. List of Elected MCAs in Kacheliba Constituency 2022. It is one of West Pokot County’s four constituencies. Six wards make up the constituency, and members of the West Pokot County Assembly in Kapenguria represent the wards. The Kara-Pokot population had been underrepresented for years, therefore the constituency was created before to the 1988 elections to serve their concerns. The Kenya Gazette was published, and the Electoral Commission of Kenya constituted the constituency.
The Kacheliba constituency was formerly a component of Kenya’s Northern Frontier District. The British colonial authority moved the constituency, along with the remainder of West Pokot County and Turkana County, from the Uganda Protectorate to Kenya Colony in 1926.
