Gatundu South is the district officer’s seat in Gatundu Town and an electoral constituency in Kiambu County, Kenya. In Kiambu County, there are twelve constituencies. List of Elected MCAs in Gatundu South Constituency 2022. Kiamwangi, Kiganjo, Ndarugo, and Ng’enda are the four wards that make up the constituency, and they are all under the Kiambu County council. The constituency was created before to the general elections in 1997. It was once a part of the larger Gatundu Constituency, which was divided into the Gatundu North and South Constituencies. In terms of size, it ranks 182 out of 210 Kenyan constituencies, while in terms of population, it ranks 165 out of 210.

Gatundu South Constituency is home to two of Kenya’s presidents: President Uhuru Kenyatta, who has served as the country’s leader since 2013, and Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, who was born in Kenya and was the country’s first president from 1964 to 1978.
