Kenyan’s Sikhs and other Indian faiths have always been philanthropic in nature as they play their traditionally engrained obligation to the wellbeing of humanity by making donations to charitable causes from community to national levels.
Here, Nakuru’s Sikh leaders pay a courtesy call to founding President Mzee Jomo Kenyatta (1896-1978) and Vice President Daniel arap Moi (1924-2020) at State House Nakuru in 1972 as they present a cheque for the Rift Valley Institute of Technology and Gatundu Hospital.
