The Ethiopian kale, as this veggie is often called, tastes more “deep” than regular kale. Its subtle, fragrant aromas, which resemble mustard, pair nicely with lisustsa (Isukha). because it lessens the harsh flavor of the former. It thrives when planted under the shade of banana trees, but pests and bad weather are its biggest enemies.
