How to Request to Register for Classes at Qatar University. Registering for classes is the third step in the registration process of students at Qatar University. There are four methods for adding course sections in registration, namely searching and adding sections from class schedule, adding the CRN of each section, selecting class sections from a registration plan, and searching section from course plan, which have been approved by the academic advisor.
Online Instructions
- Click on “Register for Classes” in the Registration page.
- Select a term, then click on “Continue”.
- First Method: Search and add sections from class schedule, then click on “Add”.
- Second Method: Add CRN and click on “Add to Summary”.
- Third Method: Using registration plan, which has been built by the student in the Plan Ahead, to add sections by clicking on “Add All” to add all sections in the plan or clicking on “ADD” to add section each section as shown below.
- Fourth Method: Searching section from the advisor course plan, which has been created and approved by the academic advisor, to add sections by clicking on “View Sections”, and when all sections are displayed, click on “ADD”.
- Click on “Submit” if the section is suitable with your daily schedule, and the section status will change to “Registered”.
- Select “Web Drop” in Action field if you want to drop the registered section, then click on “Submit”.
- Check the “Conditional Add and Drop” field and click on “Submit” if you want to remove the section permanently from registration.
Additional Information
- If a student is unable to register, a message will display in status field indicating that there are errors preventing registration, and the details of errors will display on top of the page on the right side.
