This a guide on How to Request Geographic Information System Data Services via Internet in Qatar. The Centre for Geographic Information Systems (Centre for GIS) provides this service to government entities and, in special cases, private institutions whose contracts with the Ministry of Municipality (MoM) define the technical and legal terms governing their access to the service.
Government entities are provided with GIS data through the internet (web services) in order to use them in developing internet apps or mobile devices, or updating their own geographic databases.
