Glovo is a startup founded in 2015 in Barcelona and, since then, has expanded its operations to three continents – Europe, Africa, and South America. How To Become A Glovo Rider In Kenya. The Glovo app is already available in Morocco, Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire and Nigeria, bringing its services to more than 40 cities, more than 300,000 users, 8,000 restaurants and 12,000 couriers.

Glovo Prime is a subscription service that enables users to pay a monthly fee and get unlimited free deliveries throughout the month. The service can be activated directly from the Glovo app. 1

The service is present in over 20 countries and more than 100 cities (including  Paris, Madrid, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Istanbul, Cairo and now Nairobi). Every month, around 3 million orders are being delivered through the app under an average delivery time of 45 minutes.

Priscilla Muhiu, Glovo’s Head of Marketing for Sub-Saharan Africa said the launch in Nairobi has strengthened its operations in Africa and reinforces the transformation that the on-demand economy and delivery sector is undergoing in Kenya. The average pay for a Glover is Ksh. 35,000.

Customers can also pay for their orders using MPesa, through an app called iPay. In this case, paybill number 510800 is used by the customer, and you’ll have to provide the customer with your unique iPay ID to be used as the account number.

How To Become A Glovo Rider In Kenya

Here is the step-by-step process of how to become a Glovo rider in Kenya:

  1. Go to your Google Play Store on your mobile phone.
  2. Download the Glovo app.
  3. Install the app.
  4. Create an account by logging into the app.
  5. After signing up in the Glovo app, click on “job application.”
  6. Select the “Glovo riders” option.
  7. Click “Apply Now”.
  8. Fill in the application form correctly.
  9. Upload the required documents.
  10. Submit your details.

A confirmation email or message will be sent to you, showing you whether you qualify for the job or not.
