How to Apply for a Personal License of Advertisements and Public Relations in Qatar. This service allows Qatari individuals to submit a request to obtain a license to operate advertising and public relations activity, via the E-Services portal of the Ministry of Culture (MOC). This is with the aim of designing advertisements and promoting the marketing of specific goods or services, conducting advertising campaigns and managing public relations activities.

License Duration: one year

Online Instructions

  • Click on “Publications and Artistic Works Services” under E-Services portal available on MOC website.
  • Click on “License Request to Operate Advertising and Public Relations Activity” from the list of services.  
  • Login by using your personal account on the National Authentication System (NAS, Tawtheeq). 
  • Attach the following documents:
    • QID copy of license owner
    • QID copy of responsible manager
    • Certificate of a trade name reservation (in case of new request)
    • Business study that a company will undertake, signed by the owner of company o person authorized to sign with the company’s seal (in case of new or re-issue request)
    • Certificate of proof of authorization to sign, in case of entering as a delegate or authorized to sign (optional)
    • Commercial registration copy (in case of renew or re-issue request)
    • Municipality’s license copy (in case of renew or re-issue request)
    • Establishment ID copy (in case of renew or re-issue request)
    • Lease contract copy (in case of renew or re-issue request)
  • Submit the application.

Fees

  • License Issuance: QR25,000 
  • License Renewal: QR10,000 
  • Re-issue Request: QR25,000 
  • Edit License Data: No fees needed
  • License Transfer Ownership: No fees needed
  • License Cancel: No fees needed

Additional Information

  • The terms of applying for this service include the following:
    • The application is available for individuals who must be Qataris.
    • Submission is available for personal entities or through an authorized signatory.
    • The age of license applicant must be over 21 years old.
