A 21-year-old German-Iranian man from Hamburg, using the online alias “White Tiger,” has been charged with hundreds of crimes, including murder, after allegedly coercing a 13-year-old American boy to commit suicide on a livestream. Prosecutors allege that the suspect was part of a virtual abuse network known as “764”, which targeted children worldwide for sexual exploitation, manipulation, and self-harm.
Authorities stated that the suspect victimized over 30 children across several countries, including Germany, the United States, England, and Canada. The crimes reportedly occurred between January 2021 and September 2023, when the perpetrator was aged 16 to 19. He is accused of grooming vulnerable minors through online chats and gaming platforms, coercing them into producing pornographic material, and in some cases, inflicting self-harm.
Details of the Case
- Prosecutors in Hamburg filed 204 criminal charges against the man, including one murder charge and five counts of attempted murder as an “indirect perpetrator.”
- The suspect allegedly leveraged his position in online communities to establish trust with minors before pressuring them into harmful acts.
- During his arrest at his parents’ home in June 2025, authorities seized illegal weapons including knives, brass knuckles, a baton, computers, and hard drives, which are still under forensic examination.
The case has prompted international concern over the protection of minors online. Reports indicate that the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the U.S. flagged the suspect to German authorities as early as 2021, providing a 40-page dossier with chat transcripts showing attempts to manipulate children into self-harm. Despite this early warning, police did not arrest the suspect until 2025.
Legal Proceedings
The Hamburg public prosecutor’s office confirmed that all criminal proceedings will be conducted behind closed doors, given the sensitive nature of the victims involved. Authorities continue to investigate potential additional victims and the broader network of online abuse linked to the case.
The disturbing case has raised questions about international cooperation, timely intervention, and the safeguards necessary to protect children from online predators exploiting digital platforms.
