    Exceptional Entry Permit Not Required as of 12 July

    Major Abdullah Al Jassmi, Head of the Administrative Affairs Section at the Airport Passports Department, Ministry of Interior, revealed that as of July 12 and with the lifting of restrictions, the exceptional entry permit for those coming to the country will not be required of residents and visitors with work visas.     Major Al Jasmi explained that if the residents meet the conditions for entering the country, that is, they have the validity of residency and not exceed 6 months outside the country, they can enter without an exceptional permit.

    He added, if the residents have exceeded 6 months outside the country or the residency has expired due to some circumstances, they can follow the procedures before closing the airports by applying through HUKOOMI portal or Metrash 2, pay the prescribed fees and return to the country.
