    Here is a List of Elected MCAs in Mandera County 2022-2027. The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) registered 217,030 voters in the thirty wards and 4 voters in prison in Mandera county, for the August 9 2022 general election. The voters registered in prisons could only vote in the presidential election.

    Mohamed Adan Khalif (United Democratic Movement (UDM)) was elected governor of Mandera  county in the August 9, 2022 election. Ali Maalim Mohamud (UDM) was elected deputy governor. 

    Khalif defeated three other candidates, receiving 53,861 (40%) of the valid votes cast. His closest challengers were Adan Abdulla Mohamed Jari (Jubilee Party (JP)), with 40,564 (30%) votes and Hassan Noor Hassan (Orange Democratic Movement (ODM)) with 40,514 (30%) votes. 63% turnout for the gubernatorial election in Mandera, as per provisional IEBC results.
