Dr. Paulyne Wairimu is a Kenyan physician who has made significant contributions to healthcare projects and has an amazing worldwide influence.
Her 2022 Outstanding Leadership Award is a testament to the international acclaim her efforts has received.
Out of 2,000 entries from around the world, Wairimu was declared the winner in the health category.
At the Pharmacy and Poisons Board, the physician presently holds the position of Medical Devices and Diagnostics Lead.
In addition, she serves as head of the African Medical Devices Forum (AMDF), which is a forum under the African Union’s (AU) African Medicine Regulatory Harmonization Initiative.
The physician also represented Kenya in Geneva, Switzerland at the World Health Assembly, the top health-related decision-making body.
