TFD, or Thin Film Diode, is a type of LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) technology that uses diodes instead of transistors to control each pixel in the display matrix. Like Thin Film Transistor (TFT) displays, TFD panels offer improved image quality and faster refresh rates compared to older passive-matrix screens. TFD is often used in mid-range mobile devices and small-screen applications where performance and cost-efficiency are both important. While not as advanced as TFT in terms of sharpness and color accuracy, TFD provides a good balance between quality, power consumption, and affordability for basic multimedia and mobile use.
