In particular, Westlands has become home to dotting iconic buildings, with a number of international companies setting up their regional offices in the business hub. Located close to the Chiromo/Westlands ring road, is a magnificent 19-storey twin tower complex that one can’t afford to miss.
According to Knight Frank’s official site, the twin tower embodies a modern office complex that offers a high-quality business environment.
From 2 levels of the clubhouse to 2 basement parking levels, the building consists of amenities such as a fire alarm and detection system, high-end restaurants, three-phase power, a direct link from main fibre optic and access control and CCTV surveillance.
The billionaire behind the building is a globally known tycoon and the wealthiest person in India since 2008, Mukesh Ambani. According to Forbes, the business mogul’s net worth is Ksh9.9 trillion ($86.7 billion) as of March 13, 2022. His insurmountable success is linked to his multi-billion company- Reliance Industries.
His story dates back to April 1957 in Yemen, previously known as Aden. Ambani lived in Yemen for a few years before his family moved to India where he attended Hill Grange High School. He later joined St Xavier’s College in Mumbai and pursued a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
Ambani later enrolled for a Masters in Business Administration but dropped out to help set up his late father Dhirubhai Ambani’s company- Reliance company which at the time was a rapidly growing business.
In the 1980s, Ambani aided his father to run the family business which later diversified from textile manufacturing to petrochemicals, oil and gas, telecommunication, and retail.
The company later morphed into one of the largest retailers in India. However, in 2002, after his father’s death, Ambani and his younger sibling Anil took over its leadership.
Determined to keep his father’s dream alive, Ambani led the company to huge success- developing the world’s largest grassroots petroleum refinery in India.
