At inception, the Sacco was intended to serve primary school teachers in Kiambu District.

Over the years, the Sacco’s common bond was opened to allow all interested Government employees, employees from private institutions, Kenyan citizens in the Diaspora and the business community enjoys the Sacco products and services.

The Sacco has recorded remarkable grown with membership currently standing at 68,000 members and branches in Nairobi (2), Kiambu, Kisumu, Bungoma, Thika, Limuru and Nakuru. In addition, the Sacco has satellite offices in Mombasa, Machakos, Loitokitok, Emali, Kajiado, Namanga, Ngong, Migori, Eldoret, Kitale, Siaya, Nanyuki and Matuu.

As at 31st December 2014, the Sacco had total assets of KES.6.706bn, member deposits of KES.3.731bn while equity stood at KES.786.5mn. The revenues for the same period stood at KES.946.8mn.
