During their transfer to Bungoma Central Police Station earlier today, Barasa and Karani allegedly caused a commotion that led to the police vehicle crashing. Seizing the opportunity, both men attempted to flee the scene. Tragically, Amos Karani was struck and killed by a speeding vehicle during the escape.
