Nominated Senator Beatrice Kwamboka was among those who jumped in to boost Kwamboka’s business when her story hit the internet.
Senator Kwamboka offset the vendor’s rent for the remainder of 2021, alongside a potato chipper, cooking oil and two sacks of potatoes.
Graduation
In a rejoinder, an unbowed Kwamboka explained she attends classes in the morning before selling chips. The 23-year-old announced her graduation via her Twitter page on 17th December 2021. “Thank you so much for your support. Your chipo mwitu vendor made it,” she tweeted accompanied by photos of herself donning her graduation attire.
