Step-by-Step Guide to Becoming a Supplier
Step 1: Visit the Head Office
Start your journey by visiting our Head Office at Sameer Industrial Park, along Road C Off Enterprise Road. At the reception, our team will direct you to the relevant Commercial Manager responsible for your product category.
Step 2: Pitch Your Product
Once directed to the Commercial Manager, you will pitch your product. After the pitch, you will leave a sample and set up the next meeting for product evaluation.
Step 3: Product Evaluation
During the evaluation process, the Commercial Manager will assess several factors:
- Purpose of the Product: Does it bring traffic to our branches? Does it create excitement in the market? Does it build transactions? Most importantly, what problem does it solve?
- Product Presentation: The look and feel, quality checks, KEBS approval, and whether it has a barcode.
Step 4: Follow-Up Meeting
After the initial evaluation, there will be a follow-up meeting to discuss the product’s commercials. This includes:
- Price Points: Establishing competitive pricing.
- Terms of Trade: Defining the conditions for doing business.
- Margins: Agreeing on profit margins.
Once aligned on the commercials, the Commercial Manager will request your company details for onboarding and discuss product attributes and quantities.
Step 5: Internal Alignment
The final stage involves Naivas internally aligning on the product needs, considering factors such as:
- Demographics
- Usage
- Seasonality
- Category Gaps
