Audio-Visual Artistic Production – License of Media Activity for Companies in Qatar. This service allows companies that want to conduct business related to media activities to apply for the issuance of a license to produce programs, radio and television series and plays, and to market this production inside or outside the country. This includes every activity to produce innovative works in the field of literature, arts or science, regardless of the physical image in which that production appears. This request is submitted via the E-Services portal of the Ministry of Culture (MOC).
License Duration: one year
Online Instructions
- Click on “Publications and Artistic Works Services” under E-Services portal available on MOC website.
- Click on “License Request to Operate Artistic Production” from the list of services.
- Login by using your personal account on the National Authentication System (NAS, Tawtheeq).
- Attach the following documents:
- QID copy of license owner and partners
- QID copy of responsible manager
- Certificate of a trade name reservation (in case of new request)
- Study of business that a company will do, signed by the owner of company or a person authorized to sign with the company’s seal (In case of new or re-issue request)
- Certificate of proof of authorization to sign, in case of entering as a delegate or authorized to sign (Optional)
- Commercial registration copy (in case of renew or re-issue request)
- Municipality’s license copy (in case of renew or re-issue request)
- Establishment ID copy (in case of renew or re-issue request)
- Lease contract copy (in case of renew or re-issue request)
- Decision to establish the company (in case there are public utility companies)
- Disclosure of the heads of the Board of Directors (in case there are public utility companies)
- Submit the application.
